When I had both kids while Dave was in SF for his birthday weekend, I would put the movies Dave got from the library on for Madeleine while I put Connor down for his nap.  Dave got the Nutcracker, The Magic Flute, and La Traviata.  Funny enough, they all worked as a great distraction. 

 

A horror movie scene?  No, Madeleine got into Mommy's tinted lip gloss.

 

Florian gives Madeleine a laundry basket ride. Weee!

 

The tree that Florian and Andrea toiled over to extract from the junipers.  Hopefully it survives the transition.

 

I thought this would be a great photo op, but it just didn't work out as planned.

 

Madeleine likes to talk to Daddy and Connor in the bathroom downstairs through the forced air vents.  They really transmit sound well. 

 Connor loves having his teeth brushed! 

 

Dave is not the only one who loves coffee.  (just kidding)

 

Somtimes putting Connor's hair up is easier than cutting it.

We went to the Oregon coast last weekend.  Fun and relaxing!
