In another small world moment Scotty ran into another of our friends from San Francisco, Molly, at the DOC office while I was on my way up. So I met up with the both of them in town. It was a phenomenal day in queenstown and there was a hangliding and paragliding competition underway when I arrived. I met up with Scott and Molly and headed over to the Queenstown Gardens for a round of Frisbee golf.
We hung out in Queenstown for the afternoon and then I went to the store to grab some groceries while Scott and Molly went off on a jetboat ride. When they got back we jumped in the car and drove out to Glenorchy for the night. The views along the road to Glenorchy were pretty tremendous.
We got to Glenorchy and went to our accomodations for the night....
Sweet!!!
Molly and I wandered around town while Scott got himself sorted out for the Routeburn track.
Scott jumped on the shuttle for the start of the track and I took Molly back to Queenstown before returning home Sunday night.
More to come of Molly's visit to Dunedin soon.
Love to all,
Dave and Andrea
We wandered into town for dinner (Sweet, pizza again!) before returning to the cabin for a couple rounds of Carcasonne with Scott. This is what tourists in New Zealand do, take pictures of sheep, take pictures of people taking pictures of sheep and take pictures of people taking pictures of people taking pictures of sheep.
