Ayesha's visit

Hey all,

We had a visit from our good friend and former 855 housemate Ayesha and her friend Rob just after we got back from the wedding. The day she arrived just so happened to be her birthday, so since we've had so much practice recently we baked her a cake.

We showed them around a little bit of our town and our chickens. Ayesha gets props for 'most enthusiastic about chickens' guest. We like guests like that! We played a few board games while Ayesha was here including a rather difficult (for me) round of speed scrabbleI dare you to make a word out of that draw!

While she was here we took her to one of our favourite places in Dunedin. Tunnel Beach. Ayesha and I also took some time to practice our semaphore...

This means, come to Dunedin, it's windy.

The gorse, while unfortunately a horribly invasive plant, was out in full bloom and was beautiful. Drea and I think it smells like coconut oil.
Ayesha, It was wonderful having you out visiting! Look forward to seeing you back in the states.

Love,
Dave and Andrea.

ps. I'll leave with some fun photos we took frolicking around tunnel beach...
