Soccer & German

Currently, when Madeleine wants to read a book, she'll bring it over, and say "Daddy/Mommy, sing this song!" Recently, Florian, our German exchange student, read a german book (Das Schoenste Ei Der Welt) to us, and Madeleine commented: "Florian knows this song."  Apparently we're not fooling anyone with our German reading skills.  Yup, it sounds way better when he reads it.

Madeleine had her first soccer class on Sunday.  We'll let you know what number she is on the US World Cup team when we know.  

She's going to need a jersey size xxxxxxxs.  And some non-mary-jane shoes.

Madeleine gave herself a hair cut at school when she was working with scissors.  She might have actually done a better job than we did recently.
